Privacy policy

This policy explains what Coder71 Limited collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and how to have it removed. It applies to coder71.com and any subdomain we operate.

Who is responsible

Coder71 Limited is the data controller for the information described here. Our registered office is House 203, Flat B7, Level 4, Road 2, Avenue 3, Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka-1216, Bangladesh. For anything in this policy, including a request to exercise the rights below, write to [email protected].

What we collect

• Contact submissions. The name, email address, phone number, company, website and project brief you type into the contact form, plus the page you submitted it from and any campaign parameters in the URL.
• Newsletter subscriptions. Your email address, the date you confirmed it, and the page you subscribed from.
• Technical data. Your IP address and browser user-agent, recorded with form submissions only, and used solely to rate-limit abuse.

Why we collect it, and on what basis

To reply to your enquiry, to send you the newsletter you asked for, and to keep the forms usable by stopping automated abuse. Under the UK and EU GDPR our lawful bases are:

• Legitimate interests for replying to an enquiry you sent us and for rate-limiting abuse — you contacted us, and a business needs to be able to answer and to keep its forms working.
• Consent for the newsletter and for analytics cookies. You give it by confirming your subscription or by accepting in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything done beforehand.

We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers.

• Strictly necessary. If you sign in to the admin area, an authentication cookie keeps you signed in. It is required for the service to work and is not used for tracking, so it needs no consent.
• Analytics, only with consent. Where we run Google Analytics, nothing is requested from Google and no analytics cookie is set until you accept in the banner. Decline and no request is made at all. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and you can change it at any time through Cookie settings at the foot of any page.

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will stop the admin area working; nothing on the public site depends on cookies.

How long we keep it

Contact submissions are retained for three years so that we can pick up a conversation you started earlier. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we retain the suppression record so that we do not email you again by mistake.

Where it is processed

We use Resend to deliver transactional email, Cloudflare to store and deliver images and to run the spam check on our forms, and Vercel to host the site. Each processes data on our instructions only. Coder71 Limited is established in Bangladesh, and our processors operate in the United States and the European Union, so data you send us is transferred outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens we rely on the standard contractual clauses offered by those providers, and we keep the volume of personal data involved to what the sections above describe.

Your rights

If the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time — every newsletter carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and analytics consent can be changed through Cookie settings in the footer.

Email [email protected] and we will action any request within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you have the right to complain to your data protection authority — in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office, and in the EU it is the supervisory authority for the country you live in.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date shown above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
